Overview

Sweden is the largest country in Scandinavia, known for it’s safe cars, sustainability and ABBA. Our office is located in the capitol Stockholm, a city that serves as Sweden's hub for culture, media, politics, and the economy. The city's region contributes more than one-third of the nation's GDP, and it ranks among the top 10 European regions by GDP per capita. Recognized as a global city, Stockholm is the largest metropolis in Scandinavia and the leading location for corporate headquarters in the Nordic countries. The Stockholm archipelago is known for it’s beauty and consists of more than 24 000 islands.

Stockholm has become known for a vibrant Start Up environment. The success of Swedish startups like Skype, Tink and Spotify has transformed Stockholm into a globally recognized tech hub, drawing significant interest from international investors — and with good reason.

Stockholm boasts nearly 3,000 startups and scaleups, supported by 208 venture capital investors and a workforce of 101,000 tech professionals.

The city has also produced more tech unicorns per capita than anywhere else in the world, apart from Silicon Valley, with 0.8 unicorns per 100,000 residents. Notable unicorns include the buy-now-pay-later fintech company Klarna, battery developer Northvolt, and e-mobility provider Voi.
